Mobile App (iOS & Android)
The Laxis Mobile App allows you to capture and access your meetings from anywhere.
1. Home Page
Recording Options
Tap the Microphone icon at the center of the bottom navigation bar to open the recording menu. You will see two options:
Invite AI Assistant to Online Meeting
Invite the Laxis AI Bot to join your online meetings. This functions like the "Record Meeting" feature on the web app.
Select Option
From the menu, tap "Invite AI Assistant to Online Meeting".
Enter Meeting Link
Paste the meeting URL from Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams.
Bot Joins
Tap "Record" and the Laxis Bot will join your meeting to record. After the meeting, you'll receive a transcript and summary via email.
Instant Record
Start recording in-person conversations or voice notes immediately using your phone's microphone.
Select Instant Record
From the menu, tap "Instant Record" to begin.
Grant Permissions
Allow microphone access if prompted.
Record
Tap "Stop" when you're finished. Laxis will process the audio and generate a summary.
Upcoming Meetings
The Upcoming Meetings section displays meetings synced from your connected calendar.
- Auto-Join Toggle: Use the switch to enable or disable the Laxis Assistant from automatically joining.
- Join: Tap to open the meeting link on your device.
Recent Meetings
The Recent Meetings section displays your most recent recordings with details like duration, date, and platform.
Tap Show All to view your full meeting history.
Plan Panel
The Plan Panel at the bottom of the Home page displays your current subscription plan and usage quota.
- Plan Name: Shows your current plan (e.g., "Business Plan")
- Transcription Usage: A progress bar indicating how much of your transcription quota has been used.
2. Conversation Page
The Conversation page (accessible from the bottom navigation bar) displays all your meeting recordings in one place.
Meeting List
Each meeting item shows:
- Platform: The meeting platform used, displayed as a prefix (e.g., "(Zoom)", "(Google Meet)")
- Title: The name of the meeting
- Date: When the meeting took place (e.g., 01/13/2026)
- Duration: The length of the meeting (e.g., 39 mins)
- Platform Icon: A visual indicator on the right showing the recording source
Sorting Options
Tap the Updated Time dropdown at the top left to change how your meetings are sorted. Available options include:
- Updated Time: Sort by most recently updated
- Created Time: Sort by when the meeting was created
- Title: Sort alphabetically by meeting title
- Duration: Sort by meeting length
Filter
Tap the Filter icon (slider icon) at the top right to filter your meeting list.
Search
Tap the Search icon (magnifying glass) in the top navigation bar to find specific meetings.
- Enter keywords in the search bar to find meetings by title or content
- The search scans all your conversations to help you quickly locate specific meetings
3. Meeting Detail Page
Tap any meeting from the Conversation page to open the Meeting Detail Page. This is your central hub for reviewing and repurposing your meeting content.
Header
The header displays:
- Meeting Title: The name of your meeting with platform prefix (e.g., "(Zoom) Engineering Daily Sync Up")
- Date & Time: When the meeting took place
- Duration: The total length of the meeting
The top navigation bar provides quick access to:
- Search: Tap the search icon to find specific keywords in the transcript
- Copy: Tap the copy icon to copy meeting content
Transcript Tab
The Transcript tab displays the complete transcript with speaker identification and timestamps.
- Speaker Labels: Each segment shows the speaker name (e.g., "John", "Ryan")
- Timestamps: Precise timestamps for each spoken segment
- Scrollable Content: Browse through the entire meeting conversation
Transcript Search
Tap the Search icon in the header to search within the transcript:
- Enter keywords to find specific content
- The search shows match count (e.g., "1 of 28")
- Use the Up/Down arrows to navigate between occurrences
- Matched terms are highlighted for easy visibility
Audio Playback
At the bottom of the Transcript tab, you'll find audio playback controls:
- Re-transcribe: Tap the re-transcribe icon (left) to regenerate the transcript. A confirmation dialog will appear noting that this will consume transcription minutes and AI credits.
- Rewind: Skip backward in the recording
- Play/Pause: Start or pause audio playback
- Forward: Skip forward in the recording
- Share Audio: Tap the share icon (right) to export the meeting audio file. This opens the system share sheet where you can send the audio via AirDrop, save to Files, copy, or share to other apps.
Summary Tab
The Summary tab provides an AI-generated digest of your meeting. It is designed to help you quickly grasp key outcomes without listening to the entire recording.
- Overview: A concise paragraph summarizing the meeting's main points and context.
- Action Items: A generated list of assigned tasks and follow-ups extracted from the conversation.
LaxisChat Tab
LaxisChat is an interactive AI assistant that allows you to ask questions about your meeting content.
- Suggested Questions: Quick-tap buttons for common queries like "What are the action items?" and "What was this meeting about?"
- Custom Questions: Type your own questions in the input field
- Voice Input: Use the microphone icon to ask questions by voice
Use LaxisChat to:
- Retrieve specific details from the meeting
- Clarify points made by specific speakers
- Get quick answers without reading the entire transcript
AI Writer Tab
The AI Writer tab helps you repurpose your meeting content into various professional formats.
Choose a Topic
Tap the "Choose a topic" dropdown to select a template.
Select Template
Choose from available templates including: - Meeting Summary - Follow-up Email - Customer Requirements - Action Items - Project Update - Newsletter - Blog - Show Notes - LinkedIn Post - Twitter Post
Generate
Tap the "Generate" button. The AI will analyze the transcript and create content in your selected format.
4. LaxisChat
The LaxisChat page (accessible via the LaxisChat tab in the bottom navigation bar) serves as your personalized AI research assistant across all your meetings.
Unlike the meeting-specific LaxisChat in the Meeting Detail Page, this global LaxisChat can answer questions by synthesizing information from all your meetings.
Key Use Cases:
- Cross-Meeting Research: Ask questions like "What was discussed at the last meeting?" or "What feature requests did customers mention last week?"
- Information Synthesis: Get summaries and insights that span multiple different conversations.
- Specific Meeting Queries: You can also ask about a specific meeting by mentioning it in your question.
The interface includes:
- Chat History: View your previous conversations with the AI assistant.
- Text Input: Type your questions in the input field at the bottom.
- Voice Input: Tap the microphone icon to ask questions by voice.
LaxisChat is designed to help you connect the dots between your meetings without having to open each one individually.
5. Settings Page
The Settings page (accessible via the Settings tab in the bottom navigation bar) allows you to manage your account, integrations, and app preferences.
Account
Profile
View and edit your personal information including name, company, industry, role, and location. You can also update your profile photo and delete your account from this page.
Plan & Payment
View your current subscription plan, transcription usage, and manage your subscription.
Integration
Connect Calendars
Connect your Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar to sync your scheduled meetings. Once connected, your upcoming meetings will appear on the Home page.
Others
AI Settings
Configure AI-related preferences such as Smart Title, which automatically generates a summary title based on the recording content.
FAQ
Browse frequently asked questions about Laxis, including topics like data security, transcription features, platform requirements, and supported languages.
Contact Support
Submit a support request directly from the app. Fill in your name, subject, and message to reach the Laxis support team.
Add Siri Shortcut
Add LaxisChat to your Siri Shortcuts, allowing you to access the global LaxisChat feature using voice commands through Siri.
Rate Laxis
Rate the Laxis app on the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) to share your feedback.
Log Out
Sign out of your Laxis account.
