Overview
The Meeting Detail Page is organized into two primary sections:
- Main Content Area (Left): Contains AI-generated insights, including the Summary, Action Items, and Topics. It also houses productivity tools like LaxisChat and AI Writer.
- Right Side Area: Dedicated to the verbatim record of the meeting, displaying the full Transcript and recording playback.
Right Side Area & Media Playback
The Right Side Area displays the complete transcript of your meeting with speaker identification and timestamps. The media playback capabilities in this section automatically adapt based on how the meeting was recorded:
- Laxis Meeting Assistant Bot: If the meeting was recorded by the Laxis Bot, this area will display the Video Player along with the transcript and audio controls.
- Microphone or File Upload: For meetings recorded via "Instant Record" or uploaded audio files, the area displays Audio Playback Controls and the transcript.
- Chrome Extension: Transcripts generated via the Laxis Chrome Extension are text-only. In this case, no video or audio player is available, and the section displays only the transcript.
Summary Tab
The Summary tab in the Main Content Area provides an AI-generated digest of your meeting. It is designed to help you quickly grasp key outcomes without re-watching the entire recording.
- Overview: A concise paragraph summarizing the meeting's main points and context.
- Action Items: A generated list of assigned tasks and follow-ups.
- Topics: Key discussion subjects extracted from the meeting, with clickable timestamps that link directly to the relevant part of the recording.
You can also use the Copy button to copy the entire summary to your clipboard
LaxisChat Tab
LaxisChat is an interactive AI assistant embedded directly within your meeting page. It allows you to ask specific questions about the meeting content and receive instant answers based on the transcript.
Use LaxisChat to:
- Retrieve specific details (e.g., "What was the budget decision?").
- Clarify points made by specific speakers (e.g., "What did John say about the timeline?").
AI Writer Tab
The AI Writer tab helps you instantly repurpose your meeting content into various professional formats. Instead of writing from scratch, you can use Laxis to draft documents based on the meeting's transcript.
How to use:
- Select a Template: Choose from a wide range of preset templates, including:
- Standard: Follow-up Email, Action Items, Project Updates.
- Content Creation: Blog Posts, Newsletters, Show Notes.
- Sales Frameworks: MEDDIC, BANT, SPICED, and more.
- Social Media: LinkedIn or X (Twitter) posts.
- Generate: Click the Generate button. The AI will analyze the transcript and draft the content in the selected format.
- Copy & Edit: Review the generated text and use the Copy button to paste it into your email client or document editor.
Custom Templates: If the built-in options don't meet your specific needs, you can click Add custom template at the bottom of the list to create and save your own prompting instructions.
6. Shared With Me Page
The Shared With Me page (accessible from the left sidebar) lists all meetings that other Laxis users have shared with you.
- View Shared Content: It provides a list view similar to your main meetings list, showing key details like Title, Date, and Source.
- Access Meetings: Clicking on any meeting title will take you directly to the Meeting Detail Page for that specific session, where you can view the transcript and insights based on the permissions granted to you.
7. Global LaxisChat
The Global LaxisChat (accessed via the LaxisChat tab in the left sidebar) serves as your personalized AI research assistant across your entire knowledge base.
Unlike the meeting-specific chat, Global LaxisChat can answer questions by synthesizing information from all your meetings, uploaded files, and integrated channels.
Key Use Cases:
- Cross-Meeting Research: Ask "What were the key takeaways from my last 5 engineering syncs?" or "What feature requests did customers mention last week?"
- Information Synthesis: Get summaries and insights that span multiple different conversations.
- Persistent History: Your chat history is saved and organized by date, allowing you to revisit previous research sessions.
It is designed to help you connect the dots between verified facts in your transcripts without having to open each meeting individually.
8. Folder Management
You can organize your meetings and collaborate with specific groups using Folders.
Creating a Folder
- Click the + (Plus) button next to Folders in the left sidebar.
