Voice Keyboard
Speak instead of typing, in any app. Put your cursor in an email, a chat, a document, or a search box, speak, and Laxis types clean, punctuated text for you. Say it messy — the filler words and false starts are cleaned up before the text appears.

AI removes "um", "uh", repetitions, and self-corrections, fixes punctuation, and formats dictated lists — in the tone you choose.

Speak in one language and insert the text in another.
🤖Agent (Premium)
Say what you want written — "reply that I'll be 10 minutes late" — and Laxis writes it for you.

Where it's available
The Voice Keyboard is part of the Laxis desktop app (downloaded from laxis.com/download or the Microsoft Store) and the Laxis iPhone and Android apps. It isn't included in the Mac App Store version of the desktop app, and it doesn't run in the web app.

The Voice Keyboard is included in every Laxis plan — there's no separate subscription.

Dictation uses the same monthly transcription minutes as your meetings. When you run out, you'll see "Voice Keyboard quota exhausted" until your minutes reset or you upgrade. See Billing & Plans.
Dictionary
Words you add to your Dictionary — names, product terms, jargon — help Laxis spell them correctly in dictation and in meetings. You can add up to 200 words (60 characters each), and your Dictionary syncs across all your devices.
- Desktop: Settings → Dictionary.
- iPhone and Android: Settings → General → Dictionary.
- Web: Settings → Language → Dictionary (arriving with the next web app update).
Privacy
Audio is sent to Laxis only while you're dictating, and only to turn it into text. The keyboard on your phone doesn't send your keystrokes anywhere, with one exception: in Agent mode, the text around your cursor (up to 1,000 characters before and after it) is sent with your instruction as context. Your dictation history is stored on your device. See Security and Privacy.
